Emmy-nominated "According to Jim" stars comedian, author and movie star Jim Belushi as a man's man, running his construction company while testing his wife Cheryl's (Courtney Thorne-Smith) patience with his macho antics. They may be opposites, but they still attract. With their three precocious kids, Cheryl's complaining sister, and Jim's trouble-making friend, life is in constant turmoil. But Jim's charm, sense of humor and fast-thinking always gets him out of trouble.

-Jim Belushi started his career as a comedian at Chicago's Second City, and after a series of TV sitcoms such as "Working Stiffs", he joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" in 1975 with his brother John Belushi.

-He was nominated for an Emmy for his writing on "Saturday Night Live" in 1984.

-Courtney Thorne-Smith won an Emmy for her portrayal of Georgia Thomas in "Alley McBeal" in 1999.

-Courtney Thorne-Smith had a romance with her costar Andrew Shue while filming "Melrose Place."
