In 1990 the Simpsons were given their very own weekly television series. The show was an immediate hit with children and adults alike, and it catapulted to the top of ratings charts.

School yards across the country echoed with Bart's many catch phrases, including "Whoa Mama!" and "Don't have a cow, man!" In the June 8th issue of Time Magazine, Bart Simpson was voted one of "The 100 Most Influential People of the Century."

"The Simpsons" is the longest running prime-time animated show in television history. Since its network debut, "The Simpsons" has received consistently high ratings, rave reviews, twelve Emmy Awards, and a Peabody Award. 

The show has also become a hit with celebrities - many of whom have lent their vocal talents to the program. The numerous guest voices have included such notables as Michelle Pfeiffer, Johnny Carson, Winona Ryder, Paul McCartney, Elizabeth Taylor, Bob Hope, Glenn Close, Bette Midler, Kathleen Turner, Danny DeVito and a host of others.
