A new program for St. Petersburg residents to have the opportunity to have face-to-face access with the mayor and public officials in their own neighborhoods. "Mayor's Night Out," an eight-night series where the mayor, council members, city administrators, chiefs (Police and Fire) and directors will be available to meet with constituents on a one-on-one basis.
"Not everyone can make it to City Hall during the workday, and it's not always easy to get an appointment with the mayor.  These sessions will enable citizens to meet with me and senior city staff to respond to their questions and assist them with any city services they may need," said Mayor Bill Foster.
Mayor's Night Out will travel from council district to district, beginning on Feb. 11 in District One. The sessions will be held on the second Thursday of the months of Feb., March, April, May, August, Sept., Oct. and the first Thursday of Nov., beginning at 7 p.m. and lasting until all residents receive the services they need.
