CW44's Eric

The CW Crew.

  • Source: WTOG

What has two thumbs and an awesome job? This Guy!

Eric has worked in Radio and Television since high school (a looong time). The only real job he has ever had was in the produce department at Albertson's in high school. Eric has worked at radio stations all over the US, including Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Macon, Atlanta, Pittsburgh and the old Star 95.7 right here in Tampa Bay.

Eric got tired of being fired from radio, and in 1999, WTOG hired him based solely on his vast knowledge of The Simpsons. You have probably heard his voice on the station or bumped into him at a movie premiere. Eric still a Writer/Editor/Producer for the Creative Services Department and the resident Mac-geek. There is always one. WTOG even gave Eric his own television video game review show back in 2005, "Tampa Bay Gamers Unleashed."  As Eric says, "Do what you know." Even-though the show came to an end after only 26 episodes, Eric still plays games, even at his age...when he can stay up past 7:30pm.

Eric is also a NASCAR fan so CW44 figured why not give him and his friend TM their own NASCAR blog. Eric pulls for the number 8...I mean 88 car these days (it is still hard to get used to.) Eric thinks that Dale Jr. has had somewhat of a rough time lately but this season is gonna be the one. Eric seems to think Jr. is on the right team (pains him to say that) and has the best people in place to help him not only make the chase, but take the Cup home this year.
